Resolution No.10 (1995): Measurements and estimation of the IMF

IAGA, noting the considerable interest in the effects of the Interplanetary Magnetic Field (IMF) on the geomagnetic field, and noting recent advances in measurement and data transfer in near-real time, encourages interested institutes to continue their work in the development of indices and similar parameters to describe IMF structure using ground-based and satellite measurements.
