Resolution No.4 (1999): Space weather monitoring

IAGA, recognising the importance of monitoring ionising radiation (EUV and soft X-ray) for investigating the physics of the upper atmosphere and for space weather forecasting, recommends that support is given to the creation of a permanent space patrol for monitoring radiations.

[Note: a similar Resolution has been passed by COSPAR and URSI]
