Call for bids for IAG-IAGA Joint Assembly 2029

IAGA, together with IAG, is calling for bids to host a joint scientific assembly of the two associations in 2029. Please find information about the requested information here. The LOC has to involve active members of the IAGA and IAG communities. The deadline for submissions to the association secretary generals is March 31, 2026, who will also answer any questions that you might have regarding a bid.

IAGA Awards 2025

The following IAGA Awards for 2025 have been presented at the IAGA-IASPEI Joint Assembly:

The Shen Kuo medal for interdisciplinary achievements was given to Keke Zhang, Macau.
The IAGA Long Service medal was given to Takemi Ishihara, Japan
hje Early Career Presentation Awards were given to Banusha Kugabalan (UK), Paraksh Vankawala (USA) and Yiming Zhang (USA)
